Jimmy, Morgan and John
Jimmy’s joints creaked as he hefted himself from his chair; he’d sat in that chair for years. But today, oh today was different, today he was going to live. He pulled the suit he got married in out of the back of his closet and dusted it off. It fit perfectly; he looked in a mirror, what a sight for sore eyes he was! He put on the shiny patent leather shoes as well, they were a little tight, but he’d buy some new ones if it struck him. Today was a day for frivolity and nonsense and what better to express that than a wild sojourn around town.
Morgan’s cat rubbed its soft face against her leg. Her mother was slumped over the table and as usual passed out. Whether it was from tiredness or alcohol Morgan was not sure. Her mother had at least managed to put a sweater over her disgusting clothing. But her legs, clad in fishnets and thigh height leather boots made Morgan wince, but today wasn’t a day to dwell. Today was senior skip day and she knew exactly where she was going.
John buttoned up his blazer and picked up his briefcase to complete the monotone look. He slowly descended the stairs, his wife was sitting in the kitchen reading the front page and sipping coffee. She stiffly nodded at him, she must have still been mad. He sighed and walked out the door; he closed it softly but then he changed his mind and slammed it.

It’s Tragedy
Well, I was in neuro right and Jess (my neuro teacher, who rocks out loud) gets a call and then starts crying, I don’t know why and so all of the sudden she’s leaving. Going to Ohio, I heard her friend is really sick. So, I’m really concerned.

Saturday
Well, today is Saturday and that means I have riding today. I’m not sure who I’m gonna ride, probably Paddy Studly or Lowell. Hopefully Paddy ’cause I haven’t ridden him in a while. So, yeah. I’m sort of upset right now, see, my one of my favorite teachers is leaving to study art in India, my other favorite teacher may leave to become a doctor, another teacher is going to Dartmouth on a scholarship and another teacher is up in the air. I was listening to Hey Jude by The Beatles I just started crying, I cried for three hours, just cried and cried and cried. I really don’t know what I’m gonna do, I’m not sure if I even want to go back but we’ll see.

YES!
For those of you who don’t know, I go to school and at my school there is career week. So for career week you have to go and, like, shadow someone. Sooo, I wanted to work at *Love Lane, but you can’t work there until your sixteen, my advisor pleaded my case and they agreed to give me an interview. So I went, I talked and I totally conquered!!!! And they even offered me a summer position. SO, yeah, it really rocks. Aaand <insert drum roll> the film I’m in is almost done shooting. It’s not, like, a film like gonna be in a movie theater film. It’s a project we’re doing at school. We wrote it ourselves, it’s a 1940’s noir, a.k.a murder, mystery, romance all in one, and in black and white and really cheesy. I play a rich eccentric old lady named wait for it, wait for it <insert drum roll> R.E.G.A.L.I.A L.I.V.I.N.G.S.T.O.N, oh yes, that’s right Regalia Livingston. Oh and along the lines of horses, my darling father said that, if I make the commitment he’ll let me do an entire show series, ten shows, one hundred dollars each, a lot of money. And if I do five or more shows I’ll be eligible for the high point award.

Hello
Greetings, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m human, I’m of the female variety, and I love horses with every fiber of my 5′2 being. Though I don’t own a horse, I ride every Saturday and occasionally Sunday. I have four horses that I ride consistently: Lowell, a somewhat cow-like paint. Studly/Pops, a twenty eight year old spring chicken, he’s a Westephalian and back in the day he was a prix st george dressage horse. Bubbsy a.k.a Carlisle Export, a twenty one year old chestnut Morgan, he’s recovered three times from founder. And last, but certaintly not least Paddy, a 14.3 appy pony with questionable intentions and a nasty kicking problem. I own none of them, they all live at Briggs, where I ride. It’s a nice stable, its home.
Well, I guess that’s all I want to say for now. But should I choose to divulge more, well, you’ll know.
